Tartan Day Parade

Neither of us happen to be Scottish, but it doesn't mean we couldn't enjoy the Tartan Day Parade that New York City has to offer.  Between 45th and 55th Streets, bagpipers, dancers and proud Scots made their way down 6th Ave to celebrate their heritage.  Onlookers waved their complimentary flags eagerly as we all watched the parade march on.

Things took a turn for the strange when I saw this...

No Scottish parade would be complete without a few knockoff Disney characters...

But then these guys made their way down the avenue.

Gotta love the Vikings.
